LAUREN TOWNSEND SCHOLARSHIP
Up to $5,000
This scholarship is dedicated to the brilliant spirit of Lauren Townsend, one of the slain Columbine High School students. The applicant must demonstrate scholastic achievement or leadership in the community and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Additionally, the student must be accepted to an accredited school for continuing education above 12th grade (including trade or professional schools) and have a financial need.
ANDREW SPENCER SCHOLARSHIP
Up to $5,000
The Andrew Spencer Scholarship is dedicated to the spirit and memory of Andrew Spencer, a father and husband lost in the 2001 World Trade Center Tragedy. Andrew loved life and pursued excellence, and this award is founded with the love and respect of those whose lives he touched. The recipient must demonstrate significant financial need to continue in higher education, with a participation in scholastic and/or community extracurricular activities. In addition, the recipient should be someone looking to make the most of life, and "leave this world a little better than they found it."
THE LITTLE STEVEN CREATIVE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP
Up to $5,000
With the belief that music sets the spirit free and allows the mind to reach new heights, The Little Steven Creative Arts Award was created by E-Street band member Steven Van Zandt to recognize and encourage the free spirit that lives within us all. This scholarship assists a student with a demonstrated financial need who has been accepted to or is enrolled in a program of study in performance and/or creative arts. Such fields may include music, acting, art or any field that encourages creativity. Student must meet minimum passing grade requirements in academic subjects.
